Just finished redoing our guest bathroom and wanted to share a quick tip that saved me a ton of headache (and cash). Instead of replacing the whole vanity, I just swapped out the hardware and painted it a deep navy colorβhonestly looks brand new. Also added some peel-and-stick wallpaper behind the mirror, which was way easier than I thought it'd be, lol. Curious if anyone else has little hacks or tips they used when updating their bathrooms?
Painting the vanity sounds great, but I'm kinda skeptical about peel-and-stick wallpaper in bathrooms. Don't they start peeling off with humidity and steam? I was thinking of trying something similar but worried it'd be a waste of time... Has anyone had it up for a while and can confirm it actually stays put?
I've had peel-and-stick wallpaper in my bathroom for about 18 months now, and honestly, it's held up better than I expected. The key seems to be proper prepβcleaning walls thoroughly and smoothing out bubbles during application. No peeling yet, even with daily showers. But if your bathroom gets super steamy or lacks good ventilation, I'd be cautious... maybe test a smaller area first?
