Last summer, I got this crazy urge to redo my living room, but when I checked my bank account... yeah, not happening. So, I ended up hitting thrift stores, repurposing some old furniture, and even tried my hand at DIY wall art (which turned out surprisingly decent, lol). Honestly, it ended up looking pretty cool for way less than I expected. Curious if anyone else has tackled a renovation on a shoestring budgetβ€”how'd it turn out?

Yeah, thrift stores and DIY can really surprise you sometimes. I've seen plenty of budget renovations that actually turned out better than pricier ones. Did you find repainting helped a lot? I've noticed just changing paint colors or even rearranging furniture can totally transform a room without spending much at all.

One thing I always wonder about is flooringβ€”did you tackle that too? I've had clients who opted for peel-and-stick vinyl tiles or even painted their old wood floors to freshen things up on the cheap. Seems like flooring is one of those areas people shy away from when budgets are tight, but there are actually some pretty creative options out there.

Also curious if your DIY wall art was inspired by anything specific... Pinterest, maybe? Always interesting to see where people get their ideas from.
