I've been thinking lately, imagine if we all had to completely change our living room decor every single season—like, not just a few pillows or candles, but the whole vibe. Furniture, wall colors, everything. Sounds kinda exhausting but also weirdly fun? I'd probably love it at first and then get super annoyed by winter, lol. Curious how others would handle it or if you'd even want to try something like that.
"Sounds kinda exhausting but also weirdly fun?"
Haha, exhausting is right...can you imagine the furniture hauling every three months? I'd probably love the novelty at first too, but by fall I'd be side-eyeing my paint roller like, "we meet again..."
I dunno, swapping out furniture every season seems a bit much, but it doesn't have to be that intense. You could keep the big stuff neutral and just change up smaller elements—throws, pillows, curtains. It's way less exhausting (and cheaper), plus it's kinder to the environment. I mean, hauling couches around four times a year? No thanks... I'll stick to swapping cushion covers and calling it a day.

Haha, totally with you on that one. I remember one client who insisted on changing out her entire living room set every season—beautiful results, sure, but man, was it exhausting. After helping her lug a massive sectional up two flights of stairs in the middle of summer, I swore I'd never do that again. Now I'm all about neutral furniture and just switching up accessories. Way easier on my back (and wallet).
I get the appeal of keeping it simple, but honestly, there's something kinda exciting about a bigger seasonal change. Last fall, I swapped out my usual sofa for this vintage velvet loveseat I found at a flea market. Yeah, it was a pain getting it home (had to rope in two friends and bribe them with pizza), but it completely transformed the vibe of the room. Maybe not every season, but once in a while, shaking things up with furniture can be worth the hassle...
