Seriously, I thought the hardest part of renovating my kitchen would be picking out cabinets or something fun like that. Nope. Turns out it's dealing with permits and inspections. Every time I think I've scheduled everything right, something pops up—like the inspector rescheduling last minute or some random paperwork I didn't even know existed. It's like playing whack-a-mole with bureaucracy, you know? Anyone else feel like permits are the real nightmare of home improvement?
