Redoing our bathroom storage and I'm stuck between floating shelves and closed cabinets. Floating shelves look airy and open, kinda spa-like, you know? But then again, cabinets hide all the clutter and random stuff that inevitably piles up (like my 10 bottles of shampoo I'll probably never finish, lol). Anyone tried either and regretted it later? Curious which people prefer and why.

I went with floating shelves thinking they'd look sleek and minimal, but honestly, keeping them tidy drove me nuts. Dust, water spots, and the constant rearranging to keep things looking neat...ended up switching to cabinets after a year. Just something to consider.
